The first NB billiard club was opened in 1993 and is still one of the biggest billiard clubs in Latvia today. During these almost 20 years NB club has organized competitions of different levels – local, Baltic, European and World level snooker competitions. World famous snooker players like Ding Junhui, Mark Allen, Ricky Walden, Daniel Wells, Alex Borg, Michael White have visited and played in NB club.

There are 5 NB billiard clubs in Riga today – 9 Skunu street, 38 A. Caka street (entrance from Gertrudes street), 49 Slokas street and smaller clubs 161 Slokas street in Imanta and 2 Saharova street.  The clubs at 9 Skunu street, 38 Caka street, 49 Slokas street, 2 Saharova street has pool, snooker and russian billiard tables. In Imanta there are pool and russian billiard tables.

Pool amateur league is an important event for many pool players every wednesday. Every month there is a possibility to win a prize. Every year there is a Christmas party and final awards ceremony that brings together real veterans of NB club and many new participants.

There is a discount card available for NB club participants.

In 2009 an International Snooker academy of Riga was estabished and it is located on 38 Caka street. Participants of all age groups are welcome to ISA of Riga. 6 top of the range Star tables were brought to Latvia the same year. NB billiard club is the only club in Baltics were Star tables are available for public playing in a club.
